Yip Pin Xiu has done it again! She has defended her gold medal in the Women’s 50m Backstroke S2 — her second Gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

This is her fourth Paralympic Games, and with this latest win, she now has five Gold Paralympics medals under her belt, including the one from last week! Singapore is proud of you, Pin Xiu!

The campaign for Team Singapore in this year’s Games is coming to an end. Swimmer Toh Wei Soong will compete in the Men’s 50m Butterfly S7 tomorrow. We wish him all the best! 🇸🇬 – LHL

Taiwanese swimmer Chen Liang-da (陳亮達) failed to advance to the final of the men's 100m backstroke at the Tokyo Paralympic Games on Monday, as he finished ninth in his heat.
