There are teachings that predict the Rapture to happen latest by 2021 and the Second Coming of Christ latest by 2028. Kindly refer to the graphic below which I found on Twitter.

Those who believe this base it on Psalm 90 whereby they interpret Israel as being the one who has 70-80 years.

“The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.” ‭‭(Psalms‬ ‭90:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

If you count 1948 as the rebirth of Israel as a nation, then 1948 + 70 = 2018 and 1948 + 80 = 2028 which is how they arrive at that date range of 2018-2028.

Israel is likened to a fig tree in the following verse:

“I found Israel like grapes in the wilderness. I saw your fathers as the first ripe in the fig tree at its first season; but they came to Baal Peor, and consecrated themselves to the shameful thing, and became abominable like that which they loved.” (Hosea‬ ‭9:10‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

The rebirth of the nation of Israel (being clothed with leaves again) set the 80 year prophetic time clock in motion and we could very well be in the generation where the Rapture will happen.

““Now from the fig tree learn this parable. When its branch has now become tender, and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near. Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away, until all these things are accomplished.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭24:32-34‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

So Rapture in 2021 and Second Coming of Christ in 2028?

This is plausible because this theory doesn’t pinpoint a day nor hour of the Second Coming which would be a direct contradiction of Jesus’ words.

“But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.” ‭‭(Matthew‬ ‭24:36‬ ‭WEB‬‬)

We can’t know the exact day or hour, but by His parable of the fig tree, we can know the approximate season for it.

Be led by the Holy Spirit in you to use discernment and let Him bear witness to what is the truth.

If this is the last year for the church of Jesus Christ to win souls for the Kingdom before the great departure, then how should we live?

Firstly, we ought to awaken to our callings and gifts so that we can serve effectively the way we were individually graced to.

Just because the Rapture may happen this year doesn’t mean we be idle. Still work in your respective fields, and do so all the more excellently as unto the Lord. His grace is more than enough for you. Shine brightly for Him wherever you have been planted.

是的！這個坐在馬桶上的惡魔
就是基督教七宗罪「怠惰」的代表惡魔貝爾芬格（Belphegor）
在1863年法國《地獄辭典》上的樣子。
典型特徵就是山羊角、山羊耳朵和山羊尾巴，因為在中世紀山羊就是懶惰的代表（為什麼？？？）
至於為什麼他是怠惰惡魔？又為什麼坐在馬桶上呢？這就有一長串的故事了.....
.
故事要從西元375年開始講起......
這個時候的基督教已經合法，而且還快成為羅馬的國教
欣欣向榮的教會便開始思考一個問題：人要做什麼事情才算是墮落？墮落的人又會受到什麼樣的懲罰呢？
就在這一年，一個位於希臘的修士龐帝古斯參考聖經製作出一份清單
上面洋洋灑灑列舉出造成人類墮落的八項罪名，目的就是幫助人們自我檢驗好克服誘惑。

後來教廷把這個希臘修士判為異端，但這份清單還是蠻不錯的，
就把這份清單收了。
西元6世紀末教宗格列高里一世刪了一些、又加了一些
正式宣告了基督教不可違背的「七宗罪」：
.
「傲慢、嫉妒、憤怒、怠惰、貪婪、暴食及色慾」
.
不過仔細想想，怠惰在中古歐洲在宣判為有罪也是很正常的
根據基督教義的解釋，一個人怠惰不工作，其他人就得被迫幫你工作；
代表的動物是山羊、代表色是淡藍色（這我就不懂了，有請神學家解釋）
到了13世紀，犯了怠惰之罪的人們
還得被扔到煉獄裡洗滌自己的罪孽。他們會被扔到一個巨大的蛇坑裡
不斷地追趕跑跳蹦直到你夠格登上天堂的階梯

不過一直到這個時候，七宗罪跟惡魔還沒什麼太大的關係
一直到女巫獵殺的時代，地獄才終於形成一個如宮廷般的官僚體系
1589年，德國特里爾的女巫獵人和教士彼得・史賓菲爾德
終於將七種惡德都冠上一個代表惡魔，還給他們取了一個在當時可能很帥
現在看起來卻一整個中二到家的名字----

「地獄王子」（the Princes of Hell）

「貝爾芬格」就是怠惰的代表惡魔（順帶一提，路西法是傲慢）
貝爾芬格的前身是一個叫Baal Peor的異教神，據說在進行Baal Peor的崇拜儀式時會露出屁股及私處，
可能就因為這原因，猶太教有些拉比便有「貝爾芬格喜歡便桶和排泄物」的說法
在地獄七王子（天阿這名字真的好俗）裡，據說貝爾芬格的法術是最高的
但因為實在太懶了，所以就乾脆把地獄之王的寶座讓給路西法
不過也因為實在太懶了，所以連路西法也很難命令他。

因為是著名惡魔，所以關於他的軼事也不少
最有名的就是在七個惡魔當中，他是唯一一個娶人類當老婆的。
文藝復興時代，馬基維利（是的就是寫君王論的那個）寫了一個小故事〈大惡魔貝爾芬格〉
故事大意是有一天，冥王跑來跟貝爾芬格抱怨，說最近冥界湧入很多男性靈魂
開始責怪自己的妻子和婚姻制度，因此各大惡魔開始爭論：到底有沒有幸福的婚姻？
「你去幫我實驗看看吧？」冥王問。
「好啊。」貝爾芬格很乾脆的說。

於是他就化成人形，然後帶了十萬枚金幣跑到佛羅倫斯
在路上隨便抓了個女生：「請和我結婚。」
女生：「好。」
然後從此以後，兩個人就過著生.不.如.死的日子
.
總之到最後，貝爾芬格的十萬枚金幣不但全部報銷，還欠了一屁股債
開始被債主各種追著跑（當惡魔當成這樣也真是夠窩囊了）
到最後逃到一個農民家中，對農民說：「請讓我躲一下感恩。」
農民想了想：「讓你躲是可以，但總得給我點什麼吧？」
惡魔當場就想撞牆：錢都花完了，要給農民什麼啊？？
最後只好說：「我是惡魔。如果你收留我，我就賜與你驅趕惡魔的權利！」
農民這才一口答應，惡魔才終於度過這次的劫難
回去後，惡魔從此憤恨的宣稱：
「這世界上才不可能會有幸福的婚姻呢！（哼）＠＠」

不過在所有作品裡，也只有馬基維利這篇的貝爾芬格比較勤勞
剩下幾乎都是一副動也不動的死樣子。他被認為是一個會幫助人們發現事物的惡魔，會藉由提供人們各種能讓他們變得更富有的靈巧發明來誘使人們墮落。
根據一些十六世紀的惡魔學家之說法，他的力量在四月的時候會變得比較強。所以人在四月的時候
通常都會比較懶。
根據1818年《地獄辭典》第一版的敘述，他會變成年輕貌美的女性、
然後帶著很多錢來誘使人變得懶惰。不過在40年後的第六版
就從一個美女變成一個坐在馬桶上的山羊角中年大叔，從此貝爾芬格的形象也就此確立了～～
