沒有性平教育的地方
剛剛與太太在看坎迪亞一案，坎迪亞是巴基斯坦的網紅。早年因童婚被嫁掉，之後受不了家暴逃回娘家，娘家卻叫她忍耐。於是她再度逃走，並成為網紅。她常常在頻道中擺弄性感、挑戰大眾觀感。最後因為挑釁宗教領袖受到死亡威脅。她要求警察保護，卻被警察漠視；於是她再度逃回家，最後卻被她的親兄弟勒死。
她的兄弟說她的行為有辱門風而忍無可忍。因為女性作為有辱門風而被家族殺害，在巴基斯坦是非常常見的事情，稱之為「榮譽處決」。而實施榮譽處決的殺手通常會被視為無罪，若有也是輕判。
因為巴基斯坦人深信：女性做出挑釁行為而被殺，是她自己活該。
但這個觀念在坎迪亞案後慢慢地翻轉了。坎迪亞的父親堅持追究兒子的罪刑。他說：
「坎迪亞是我女兒也是我兒子」
「失去坎迪亞是我最大的痛苦，我要兇手付出最大的代價。判處他死刑，讓他被吊死，就像他對坎迪亞做的事情一樣。即便他是我兒子。」
父親的追究堅持法辦兒子，其實在巴基斯坦也是非常罕見的事情。
坎迪亞案的奇蹟不只如此，因為坎迪亞的死亡讓巴基斯坦人開始追究「榮譽處決」的合理性。雖然有認為坎迪亞死了活該的人，但也有聲援坎迪亞的人。坎迪亞的死亡造成了「榮譽處決」的修法。從此之後，在巴基斯坦，「榮譽處決」是違法的，即便死者的家人願意原諒兇手，兇手也無法逃離制裁。
其實巴基斯坦的榮譽處決，大家最近應該覺得似曾相識。因為至今台灣仍有許多男性認為自己有權力掌控女性的身體與言行，並將懲罰「不乖的」女性視為是帥氣陽剛的表現。真希望他們老媽可以把他們塞回子宮裡去。

根據統計，巴基斯坦每年約有500名年輕女性遭以榮譽處決的名義殺害，下手的男性通常也會受到起訴，但往往也都獲得輕判甚至緩刑。在美國擔任助理教授的翰恩（Arsalan Khan）表示，一切都是源於巴基斯坦的傳統觀念，當地一般認為女性象徵著家族和民族的榮譽，男性若不能掌控女性的身體和言行就會被視為軟弱無能，當女性成員做出「有辱門風」的事，就需要男性動手來清理門戶。
