Tomorrow we’ll be celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary, and 12 years of us. And I just want to reflect on this. No marriage is a walk in the park. Love alone doesn’t sustain a marriage but commitment, patience, tolerance, forgiveness and knowing when to shut your mouth (something I’ve failed countless times). When I was younger, I didn’t understand why people said marriage was hard work. I didn’t understand why loving someone could be considered hard when there I was, head over heels obsessed with my bf. Someone once told me that her mom had advised her to marry a man whom she may not love but could live amicably together, instead of someone whom she loved but had frequent quarrels. I thought her mom was bonkers. 6 years of marriage, 2 kids & cancer have turned me into a realist. I often find myself sceptical of the perfect photos & sappy captions I see online. Don’t get me wrong, we aren’t having marital problems. We’ve just tasted a lot of….LIFE and we know damn well there’ll be lots more curveballs down the road. We’re not ashamed to admit that our relationship will always be a work in progress. To my husband, I’m beyond grateful for your “in spite of” love for me. Thank you for riding the good times and the bad with me. I know we’re far from the perfect couple and we get mad at each other more than we should but at the end of the day, we both know we can’t live without each other 😉 I love you❤️‍🔥 Happy Anniversary baby, and may our marriage grow stronger each day!

Finally My Brows Are on Fleek Mode all day err day! 😉 Doing this post after 3 days, and happy to report I’m good!! Thanks sooo much to @rainsandcoco I get to wake looking ready for heading out anytime 💕 Really afraid I may looked liked 蜡笔小新，I searched everywhere for the perfect shop to give my brows a resurrection 🤨, I want to looked as natural as I can! 💕Guess I’m that lucky Mama! I found mine! Upon reaching their shop at @kinexsg level 2, I was very impressed by their bright and clean environment, Rain and Coco greeted me amicably at the entrance, and immediately I was whisked into their room for assessment of my original faded brow done 2-3 years ago 😬 Rain, the more senior (she used to hold classes too!), with experience over 12 years of brow expertise asked what was my preference (as natural as possible Pls 😜) and did a detailed draft brow with brow pencil to show how my shape going be, which took us 15 mins of measuring according to my face shape! So we decided on ⭐️ 6D Korean Misty embroidery ⭐️as it more natural and last longer with proper care 👍🏻 Then Numbing process was practically painless and we waited 20mins for it to take effect and after everything was a breeze - no sting no pain no feel literally! Rain asked me multiple times to make sure I don’t feel even a pinch 🤏 She was super precise in her measurement, and I told her I’m good with what she did, but she still wants to perfect it. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻I almost drifted away into my sleep 💤, what a nap getting perfect brows! 😍 And yes, i was then informed of the after care details that her techniques are the latest (from Korean) so won’t get much scabbing or looking liked any thick brow weirdo 🤣 Sharing my reviews for those who need a set of brow to impress! Years ago, back when Tati & I first started running our own business, we got into a situation; our first disagreement with a client regarding how things were running. This is completely normal, with any worklife whether you're an entrepreneur or not, it will never just be rainbows & sunshine. There will always be disagreements with your bosses/colleagues/clients. These disagreements & feedback are what will teach you to grow individually & further develop your work. We were called in for a meeting yet we found out that this really meant we were going to be yelled at for a good 30-40minutes. (this wasn't simply a raised voice, this was hysterical yelling). We tried many times to diffuse the situation by asking him to sit down & to discuss solutions amicably. But he went on with yelling. There was another woman in the meeting room with us, his business partner whom throughout this unbelievable & rude ordeal remained silent & did not try to calm her partner down. We remained quiet & waited for him to calm down but it never happened. In the end we simply left. It was so shocking that it was hard to process what was going on at the time. I wish we hadn't stayed for the whole yelling process, I wish we had left sooner. The (non shouty) business partner came back to continue on the engagement with us a couple of days after without him & pretended like nothing had happened, she tried to justify his behaviour saying that he is from the corporate world. We never received an apology from him until this very day. I was very traumatised because in all my years of working in Malaysia or overseas, I had never received such treatment no matter how serious the matter was. I terminated the project right there and then. 𝗜𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝘁𝗶 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗻, 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱? 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗵𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗺𝗲𝗻?
