(( God Calls Them Noble ))

“The brothers immediately sent Paul and Silas away by night to Beroea. When they arrived, they went into the Jewish synagogue. Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. Many of them therefore believed; also of the prominent Greek women, and not a few men. But when the Jews of Thessalonica had knowledge that the word of God was proclaimed by Paul at Beroea also, they came there likewise, agitating the multitudes. Then the brothers immediately sent out Paul to go as far as to the sea, and Silas and Timothy still stayed there. But those who escorted Paul brought him as far as Athens. Receiving a commandment to Silas and Timothy that they should come to him very quickly, they departed.” ‭‭(Acts‬ ‭17:10-15‬ WEB)

The passage above suggests that those people in Thessalonica did not examine the Scriptures for themselves to see if Paul was speaking the truth.
When you have a heart to study and understand God’s word, like those people in Beroea, God sees you as more noble than other believers.
These Beroean believers represents the second type of hearing: hearing to receive a true revelation of God’s word in the heart.

Don’t just listen and believe what preachers teach without checking what God’s word says — God’s word must be the final authority.
If you don’t know what the Scriptures say, you’re more likely to fall into the deception of false doctrine.

When you’re facing relentless persecution, it’s a sign that you’re doing something right and impactful, such that the devil feels so threatened by what you’re doing.
The devil is not concerned with lukewarm believers leading worldly lives, but he will send waves of persecution and spiritual attacks to sabotage believers who desire to live godly lives in Christ Jesus (2 Timothy 3:12).
Whenever such attacks come, you’ll be restored with manifold blessings and eternal rewards if you respond to them with faith.

Agitation//

When speaking of filter coffee, people think about the zen moment of the pour over process (that’s what I thought so on the beginning). As I delve deeper into the coffee world, it’s never as simple as it looks! I’ve recently learnt that “agitation” is required for a truly smooth, consistent cup of coffee. Agitating the coffee grounds helps to disperse the grounds when water channels through, and ensures even extraction.

In the end, it all depends on how you like to enjoy your cup of coffee! It’s a trial and error process, and there are various recipes available online!
