Texas snow storm diary, pt. 3 aka final part 🎨: Without power and the Internet, life slowed down quite a bit. I could literally feel the delay of time. An exciting package still came through tho. Thank you random mailman! You definitely made our day. For Valentines, one of the things I got Adriel was this paint-by-number @paintedmemory set with our pic from the sunflower photoshoot 🌻. Much as I was nervous wondering if Adriel would like the gift, I loved the idea so much... and glad he loved it too. We then happily embarked on this little painting journey and that was how days passed by so fast during power outage 👩‍🎨 🧑‍🎨 . Plus painting to classic Christmas music while it’s snowing outside was a vibe. Issa vibe bro. 13 hours and a lot of shoulders and back pains later (😅), the painting was completed 🖼 . I worked on Adriel and he worked on me. We literally ‘completed’ each other 😛. Anyway, as we put the last strokes on the painting, power came back and we finally had constant electricity again ⚡️. Perfect timing. But then, the city announced the boil water notice... meaning we would have to use cooled-down boiled water to brush our teeth or wash our face. Inconvenient but we were both happy that we basically got through this crazy snow storm safe and sound, with a little big snowman in the front and a big little painting (of us) that we can hang on our wall. A lot of people had to suffer during this crazy time, and I’m just so grateful we had a roof to hide under and things we can do to make the most out of the situation. Nhật ký bão tuyết, pt. 1 ❄️: Lúc ở Houston chiều CN, bọn mình đã nghe news sẽ có bão tuyết ở khắp TX, đt thì rung inh ỏi nhắc mọi người cẩn thận & hạn chế ra đường vì sẽ rất nguy hiểm, nhưng vì mình tuần này có tests nên hai đứa quyết định là sẽ lái về, đi chậm thôi & sẽ ráng né đường nào có khả năng bị ice nhiều hơn. Cuối cùng là lên đường với hành trang là một đống lời dặn dò của anh chị 🥲. Hứa với anh chị là sẽ cập nhật liên tục tình hình. Thay vì đi 45N như bình thường, bọn mình đi hướng CStat => Waco => Fort Worth để về nhà. Chắc là chuyến đi đáng sợ nhất trong đời, vì black ice, đường trơn, ướt, thêm có nhiều lúc chạy sát bên xe truck/18 bánh, tuyết + đá + hơi nước từ bánh xe văng lên mù mịt, ko thấy gì. Nhưng lúc đó mình sợ quá chỉ biết âm thầm theo dõi Adriel và cầm em gấu bông nhỏ Sabo cho trước lúc đi 🧸 Những lúc đó kiểu life or death nên ko quay phim lại. Sau đó thì gặp đủ kiểu thời tiết, mưa đá, tuyết rơi, mưa, ì xèo. Đi qua các town dọc đường thì mọi thứ đóng cửa hết, hai đứa chạy 3-4 chỗ khác nhau để tìm chỗ giải quyết tâm sự mà hok có 😂 nói chung căng thẳng vô cùng, chỉ cần một cái ổ gà nhẹ là sẽ bể hết 😅. Dù sao thì sau 7 tiếng vật vã, hai đứa lết về được đến nhà. Valentines đáng nhớ vl. Tối đó còn nằm xem Kim’s convenience mà ko hay biết từ mai, cuộc sống sẽ biến động cỡ nào 😂 Sáng hôm sau, bọn mình chạy te te ra đường chơi tuyết (pic 1-pic 5), nhưng mà...
