I didn’t know why I’ve always loved rainy days since I was a kid and I wasn’t able to explain why. And my mind just suddenly had a click today and I now know why. When I was a kid, I’ve always been told that I’m not good enough no matter how hard I try, and this has developed an abjectness towards myself unconsciously. Although I have many good things in my life, I was still so insecure that I would feel either I don’t deserve them or they would just suddenly vanish. I felt that sunny days are just too happy therefore they don’t suit me; rainy days suit me better because they represent sadness. Today when I looked at this rainy sky, I noticed I still love it a lot, but the sadness is completely gone. The chains from my past are being broken by my Father, and the abject voice has been diminished. The lies have been exposed by Him and the accuser can no longer falsely accuse me.
