Music Box was also the selected theatrical work to represent Malaysia in a cultural exchange in Indonesia.

Music Box is based on a true story in England; its director invited Jessie Chung's ex-boyfriend Marcus Choot and 20-year-old son Jeffrey Beh to share the stage.
Jessie Chung portrays a bar songstress experiencing the ups and downs of romance, friendship, and family as she tries to make sense of three men’s affections for her. Music Box also incorporates Jessie Chung’s life journey and three relationships. During virtually every scene, Jessie put herself through rigorous challenges, displaying a wide range of emotions from heartbreaking grief to frenzied joy. A great deal of scenes required her to display seven different emotions within a few minutes, including joy, anger, astonishment, confusion, madness, sadness and grief. Jessie Chung, after putting herself through a baptism of fights, actions, and tears, moved and aroused many of the audience. To stay true to the original spirit of Music Box the stage play, the show is performed in English with Mandarin surtitles. 🎁Represented Malaysia in a Cultural Exchange in Indonesia:
