    近兩年來，大學聯考考生人數都在十萬以上，其中重考生約四、五萬人。根據所獲反映，目前不論是一般重考生或是上補習班的重考生，多數都買不到新版教科書。

    記者昨天走訪了台北市重慶南路的台灣書店門市部，標明「高中教科書」的書架上空蕩蕩的，只零散躺著國學概要下冊，及公民一至四冊。聯考科目的國文、歷史、地理等教科書遍尋不著。

    高中三民主義、英文、數學、物理等教科書由正中書局經銷，記者往訪的結果，也是同樣情形。

    明年大學聯考的命題內容，按慣例是採用七十三年版高一課本、七十四年版高二課本及七十五年版高三課本。目前，這三種版本都普遍缺書。

    一位剛由軍中退伍，準備在明年重考的青年指出，他自今年七月以來，跑了五趙台灣書店，電話更不知打了多少回，直到前天總算買到國文第三冊和文化史第三冊，其餘的還是沒有下文。

    在買不到教科書的情況下，補習班只有各顯神通，有的私自「翻版」解決問題，有的先以自編講義應付，還有的則先進行高一、高二課程複習。

    對於在家自修的重考生，問題比較麻煩。許多重考生說，準備時間本已不多，需要消化、吸收的數十本教科書又沒到手，真教人乾著急。

    今年高中教科書出現缺書現象，國立編譯館館長熊先舉認過，主要還是課程標準修改的緣故。

    他說，以往每年編印教科書，通常都會多印數千本以應門市所需；改版之後，重考生需求大量增加，以致原先準備的數量不夠應付。

    不過，重考生的需求究竟多少很難估計，為了避免印得過多而浪費，或過少而不足，他說，台灣書店日前曾登報徵求預約，相信在趕印之後，短期可以解決這個問題。
