I am first, and foremost, a Taiwanese woman.
我這個人的根本就是身為一位台灣女性。

I am the first person in my immediate family to have been born into a democracy, where I can speak the language I want, support the candidate I like, criticize the policies I don't, and perform the music I love.
我是我們家裡第一個出生於民主國家的一個成員，而我從生下就有權利講我想講的語言、支持我喜歡的候選人、批評我不同意的政策跟表演我喜歡的音樂。

Many of my closest and most respected friends are foreigners, expats, immigrants, LGBT, different, eccentric, eclectic, electric, and amazing.
我許多最親密跟最尊重的朋友們都是外國人、移居者、移民者、同性戀、雙性戀、變性人，都是不同於常、極度特異又超級令人佩服的人們。

I was raised to be proud of who I am, to fight for those in need, and to love and care for those who are different. I stand against racial supremacy, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, and any general bias that shuns people for who they are: colorful.
我從小就被教說要以自己為榮、為無助的人奮戰、並接受與接納跟自己不同的人。我反對種族優越主義、仇女沙文主義、恐懼排擠同性戀、變性人、外國人及任何鄙視及貶低各種彩色亮麗的人們。

I will be performing at 馬友友印度餐廳酒吧-松江路 Mayur Indian kitchen restaurant bar & MIK-6 live music house tonight, and I cannot promise that I will be cheerful, but I will promise to be proud. Come enjoy our freedom and respectfully value the cultural exchange, and let's hope democracy is in our favor tomorrow.
我今天晚上會在馬友友印度廚房6號分店表演，而我不能保證我到時候的氣色會很好，但是我可以答應我會以自己為榮。大家來一起享受我們的自由跟以尊重來做到文化交流。希望民主明天是讓我們微笑的。

這幾個月公開表演的次數比往常少了一些，但現在固定每個禮拜除了在 Mayur Indian kitchen馬友友印度廚房 表演，禮拜一都會去 Stunner Taipei 上台練功順便吸收強人身上散發出來的氣息。

I haven’t been gigging as much, so aside from my weekly bouts at 馬友友印度餐廳酒吧-松江路 Mayur Indian kitchen restaurant bar & MIK-6 live music house, I’ve been honing my skills trying to improve through osmosis at Stunner’s Monday night jams.

I just posted a climb fail compilation video on my IG the other day to make a point about how fake perfection on social media drives us insane, so here’s a video of me struggling with practicing a cover.

前幾天才在IG上面po了一個攀岩失敗的合輯影片，就是想指出社群媒體上大家呈現「完美假象」對自己跟他人會造成的壓力。所以這裡也來一波不完美吧。
