#遇到好老師是一生的幸運
#所有的光都會變成暖暖的痕跡

老師可以說是職場上最受到尊敬的職業了，不過真的體驗過當老師就發現要當一個好老師不容易，也是會有遇到挫折的時候，明明那麼努力了，為什麼還是這樣？特別是學校體系的老師，還要肩負很多責任，少子化，有些學校的老師還要幫忙招生，留住學生，根本跟補習班一樣，學生最大。

我當過家教老師，還有補習班老師，還有大專院校兼課老師還有講師，也有自己開花藝課等，我覺得不同位置上老師責任跟壓力都不太一樣，當然我也蠻愛上課，蠻常當學生，在不同的角色切換，我發現只要用心學生會感受到的。

如果只是踩在老師的位置上，要讓學生聽話，那就是彼此都痛苦了，鼓勵每個人長出自我的時代，老師要贏得尊重全憑實力跟真心，當一個學生一輩子可以遇到幾個好老師，也許就是一生成長的養分。

我覺得我的國中、高中國文老師影響我甚遠，常常鼓勵我多寫文章，就算修辭那些我都背不起來，老師還是肯定我的天份，就算有時候覺得自己一無是處的時候，總會想到阿，作文還算寫得不錯。

高中英文老師人也很好，就算我那麼討厭英文，老師也沒有罵過我，英文補習班更誇張，我常常繳錢沒去上課在外面遊蕩，老師打給我媽，我媽會跟老師說，沒關係老師妳多鼓勵她就好。後來畢業前聽到這段話也是覺得感動哈哈哈，我媽平常都一直罵我，卻跟老師說不要罵我。

看來我討厭一個東西表現蠻極致，喜歡也是，感謝每個堅守岡位的老師，努力不會沒有用，所有的光都會留下暖暖的痕跡。

職業與業餘的角色互換

昨晚結束逢甲的課已經八點半了，趕晚班高鐵回台北，李校長說我送你去車站。車裡頭校長說，我想讓教授、學生更貼近社會，也想把你的教材製作成英文版，讓海外合作的普渡大學與澳洲昆士蘭大學，也能以台灣產業經驗授課，創造更大的效益。但基於保護智財權，錄製的內容會在「逢甲限定」的網域中流通，也請放心。

昨晚開場時，高承恕董事長與很多位教授都一起來聽課。我跟大家說，白天我是「職業選手」，以販賣知識為生，知識賣不了錢，公司就得關門。入夜了，晚上的課是「業餘時間」，但保證會有職業水準；我空手而來，沒有賺錢的壓力，可以百無禁忌，更希望大家滿載而歸。

謝謝大家支持，我們成了台灣知識服務業的異數。大家都知道，要把一件事做好，需要1萬的小時。如果以一年工作2,000小時為例，做好本職學能的訓練至少得5年。我在這個行業已經36年了，我用青春換來經驗，如今兩鬢漸白，工作也是生活的一部份。「職業、業餘已經傻傻分不清了」。

知識產權的尊重是企業行為與社會進步的指標，但對我這種人而言，反倒不是關鍵。逆向思考，如果不是董事長、校長支持，逢甲的學生要瞭解電子業可能要付出更高的代價，而DIGITIMES也能有更多的支持者，我倒覺得，我也搭了便車！

But they always wanted to live overseas, and just before I was born, my dad came to Sydney to set things up. I don’t know why, but in the end, my mother and I didn’t join him until I was 6.

Unfortunately, half a year after we arrived, he left us. That was a huge shock. Our transition had already been quite difficult, as we both didn't speak English. Also, as Shanghai was such a big bustling city, Sydney felt a bit like the countryside, especially on the weekends, as no shops were open back then!

Eventually, Mum moved us down to Melbourne, where we were able to make some new networks and family friendships. But I was bullied a bit at school about things like my food and clothing! Whenever someone bullied me, I would defend myself, but because I didn’t have the language skills to explain to the teacher why, I got in trouble quite a bit. I ended up having to move school 3 times before I came to Balwyn Primary School, which was relatively multicultural.

I had started learning the violin from the age of 2.5 years old and even with all the troubles that were going on in my life, had somehow still kept up with it. As a result, I got a music scholarship to Trinity Grammar School. But even there I used to get into quite a lot of mischief, and would often skip school to go to the movies.
