某個盛夏，我來到萊比錫，巴哈曾擔任樂長的聖托瑪斯大教堂。那時，管風琴在教堂內熱烈的演奏巴哈觸技曲，教堂外鐘聲迎合，餘響長存心中……。

法國作曲家古諾在西元一八五三年，為巴哈於西元一七二二年所作的〈C大調前奏曲〉，譜成一段唯美的《Ave Maria》（聖母頌）。我也為同一首前奏曲寫旋律，盼望音樂能傳達出神聖國度裡的光明與希望。

Bells ring in descendent scales, I adore the sound of the bells which sound like spreading hope from the cathedral to the city. In 1722, Bach published his masterpiece, the Well-Tempered Clavier Book I. In 1853, French composer Charles Gounod fitted a melody over the top of Bach's C major prelude, and later called it Ave Maria.
I took the same prelude and fitted another melody to it, with the sound of bells in descendent scale.
