    哈囉大家，

    距離上次發文竟然又一個月以上了，
    還有可愛的版友私訊我，問我還好嗎? 太久沒我的消息會擔心。

    有在IG看我的朋友們都知道我昨天到巴黎了，但可能不太清楚我為什麼會突然到巴黎。。。

    是這樣的，費前陣子在競逐經理職位(說是很好聽的"經理"，但其實就是一般員工再上一級而已，真的不是像台灣那種經理職) 失利了，他沒被選上。

    於是老闆跟他說，我很看好你，所以想要提供你在職進修的機會，這一年間公司薪水照常付你，你去巴黎讀書的學費/住宿/來回機票都公司支付。
    而且一旦拿到這學歷後，要升職都比較容易。
    (但並不是一整年都在巴黎讀書，一年中只有10月/一月/三月/五月會在巴黎)

    一開始費一直不願意接受這個offer, 因為他說他不想離開Ella那麼久，是的，他只說Ella，哈哈哈
    (但其實是捨不得我這個煮飯婆吧!)

    總之，我一直鼓勵他，人家出錢讓你去讀書，薪水照領…又出住宿在巴黎很好的地段一個月 (房租台幣七八萬), 幹嘛不把握機會?

    他有問老闆可以帶妻小一起去嗎?老闆說當然可以，最後他答應了，所以我們在這邊了。

    對了，其實也不是他答應就可以還要跟學校與總公司面試，最後就是他了。

    當然公司不可能出我跟Ella的機票錢，一開始費不太想要讓我跟Ella跟，因為機票錢(跟他同班機的)貴到可以讓我買回台灣的來回機票，最後他還是牙一咬的買了機票讓我跟Ella來，但他說…下次就沒辦法了。哈

    我會想跟來就是貪小便宜的覺得省了巴黎住宿費真的很划算，加上十月還不太冷，我不想一月才跟。
    (費本來叫我明年一月再跟)

    好吧! 總之，現在到十月底我都會在巴黎，來一段Rachel in Paris了。

    I didn’t meet my father until I was 6 years old. My parents had a comfortable, middle-class life in Shanghai, or as close as you could get under communism. But they always wanted to live overseas, and just before I was born, my dad came to Sydney to set things up. I don’t know why, but in the end, my mother and I didn’t join him until I was 6.

    「你會選擇為了加薪20% 而跳槽降級嗎？」

    最近我子公司的員工J就面臨了這樣的選擇
    挖角她的是一間新加坡大公司
    只要答應這份offer
    以新幣計算（也就是乘3倍）
    她的薪水會比現在至少高20%

    相信一般人大概都會因為這麼優渥的薪水而猶豫吧
    降級與否，或許不會是最大的核心考量
    畢竟只要是一間好公司，你有機會成為他們的員工
    到了內部再尋求升職機會，應該也是不難的事

    那最後這位J有沒有接受這份優渥的offer呢？

    答案是
    沒有

    我和你們一樣好奇她的想法
    於是跑去問她

    發現她並不是真的對薪水無動於衷
    而是她在做選擇的時候
    她考慮的是現在公司能提供「機會」的環境和「成長」的空間

    關於公司的重大決策雖然還是由上層決定
    但是我們會將權力下放給前線
    相信我們員工的執行力
    也相信大家的思維、態度與責任程度都在同一個緯度上
    （這也是我們公司面試需要5輪的原因）

    對J而言
    她把現有職務做得很出色
    因此公司在開展新project時
    就願意讓她參與，與其他實力大將
    把project做起來

    這個機會讓他能夠學習全新的知識和運營方式
    也會在處理與project相關事務時
    獲得與以往不同的經驗和成長

    公司是否願意讓你升職加薪
    看重的是你能帶給公司多少的價值和貢獻
    若是你能抓住公司提供給你持續學習和突破的機會
    讓自己的能力和素質不斷地成長
    只要有你在的公司，業績和盈利都因為你而有所突破
    最終你就會是各大公司搶破頭都想請的頂級人才

    到時候不只是+20%
    公司為了要留住你
    還會做profit sharing，甚至是分股權
