每個飲食文化似乎都有啲重口味食物,瑞典有鹽醃鯡魚罐頭、挪威有羊頭、香港有皮蛋,呢啲食物真係唔係個個放得入口。
德國有隻Mettbrötchen,唔知呢度有無勇士食過。Mett即係生豬肉咁解,Mettbrötchen 就係生豬肉包。雖然食開日本野或意大利野都會食到生魚或生牛肉,但係我地所認知既豬肉絕對係需要煮熟先食得(尤其最近有豬瘟)。 去左德國幾次暫時都未有勇氣試,每次望到啲生豬肉都有少少反胃,唔知有冇人有經驗分享呢?
It seems every eating has some sort of weird food: Surströmming (smelly fish can) from Sweden, sheep head dish from Norway and here in Hong Kong we have thousand year old egg. These food seems to be accepted within a culture and may seem bizarre by outsiders.
In Germany there’s Mettbrötchen, which means raw pork bread. While in Japanese and Italian cuisine there are raw fish and raw beef, raw pork is considered dangerous to consume, especially due to the recent swine flu.
Personally I haven’t gathered enough courage to try yet (nor have I tried bat soup 🦇), and if given the opportunity in your next trip to Germany, would you try this unusual food ?? Or have you already tried it and consider the food not as scary as it seems?
