☆Taiwanese Chicken On Rice 偽嘉義雞肉飯☆

A rice lovers dish, almost like a braised pork on rice because you will definitely have more than 1 bowl of rice 🍚!
A the rice bucket loved this, it’s not the first time he’s had it so he’s familiar, but this time being a toddler he wait straight for the rice at the bottom and then slowly worked on the chicken afterwards. He liked the veggies but wasn’t a fan of the sweet pickled yellow radish, oh well I ended up finishing that up for him!
Traditionally this dish is made with turkey meat and turkey gravy, but one turkey breast is hard to find here unless I cook an entire turkey and two gravy is fattening. So in substitution I used chicken breast instead of turkey breast and sesame oil instead of turkey gravy. I also chose low sodium soy sauce over regular to reduce the sodium level.
Lastly, save the chicken broth to make a simple kelp and egg drop soup! Just add dry kelp in and whisk 2 eggs into the boiling soup!

超級下飯的偽嘉義雞肉飯食譜來囉!
大家都知道小哲是飯桶,這也不是第一次我煮雞肉飯給他吃了,所以一上菜的時候他馬上往下面挖把飯先全部吃掉才慢慢的吃雞肉。青菜他也有吃到是醃黃蘿蔔他不愛(沒關係媽媽很樂意幫他把蘿蔔吃掉)
傳統來說這道菜應該用火雞肉還有火雞油去做的。可是這裡火雞一定要買一整隻,我沒有閒工夫去烤一整隻火雞所以就用雞胸肉來代替。雞油雖然香可是我還是覺得太肥了,所有醬汁是用芝麻油去提味。最後因為考慮到鹽分所以我選擇用薄鹽醬油來做醬。
最後把做雞肉省下來的湯留下來做海帶蛋花或紫菜蛋花湯!
