「我們跟大自然的關係絕對已經到了需要重新建立的時候。我們以為自己是萬物之靈，對大自然資源隨心所欲廝殺掠奪。我們理所當然地讓母牛人工受孕，小牛出生沒多久就把小牛從媽媽身旁偷走，假裝沒聽到母牛媽媽痛苦的哭喊。接著我們強行奪走母牛媽媽要給小牛喝的母奶，把搶來的牛奶加進我們的咖啡，放進我們的早餐麥片。」

We go into the natural world and we plunder it for its resources. We feel entitled to artificially inseminate a cow and steal her baby, even though her cries of anguish are unmistakeable.
