二十年前，看過飲食雜誌報導，一間中菜館賣三百幾銀一碟的粟米斑塊，即刻與三位朋友慕名而來，當時年紀小，吃罷的感覺，的確是與別不同。

地點在佐敦的「新兜記」，即是「新斗記」的前身。

城中名廚Ricky Cheung（就是經常穿花恤衫的那一位），年前開設走高級茶餐廳路線的「祥仔」，一直想試試其粟米星斑飯，與兩日兩夜羅宋湯，上年二月，相約在長沙灣工作的朋友午飯，本來一起去永康街，偏偏碰上餐廳因為避疫而暫停營業，結果轉戰「Pici」。

現在祥仔已開分店，尖沙咀K11地庫，對我而言是非常方便。
