    Fun Factoid: Did you know that the forests found at the 2,500 metre range in Taiwan are very similar to those only found in the Giant Panda habitats of China?

    Just shy of the 2,500m range, Taiwan’s Daxueshan National Forest (#大雪山)is a beautiful destination filled with wonder.

    The cool climate (even in the summer) is home to a vibrant temperate coniferous and broadleaf mixed forest.

    While there have not been any Panda sightings here (that we know of) it is home to some of the best and largest cypress trees in the world.

    It’s also a great place to just walk around.

    台灣海拔高度2,500公尺的森林非常適合大貓熊居住⛰️

    海拔將近2,500公尺的大雪山國家森林遊樂區#大雪山 擁有在夏季也十分涼爽的氣候，以及充滿活力的溫帶針葉闊葉混交林。

    雖然在這裡還沒有野生大熊貓出沒的跡象（也許只是沒人看見呢），但大雪山擁有世界上一些最好又最大的柏樹家園。

    大雪山也是適合四處走走的好地方。

    大雪山國家森林遊樂區位於臺灣臺中市和平區，地處於雪山山脈西南向主稜的後段。早年為臺灣中部地區重要的大雪山林場，森林植物生態豐富，包含分暖帶、溫帶、寒帶三種森林帶，各有其獨特的生態林相。

    這二天和一群朋友來到了大雪山國家森林遊樂區位於臺灣臺中市和平區，地處於雪山山脈西南向主稜的後段。早年為臺灣中部地區重要的大雪山林場，森林植物生態豐富，包含分暖帶、溫帶、寒帶三種森林帶，各有其獨特的生態林相。

    海拔高度約為2,200～2,600公尺之間，鐵杉林和暖溫帶闊葉林兩種林相特色。台灣的鐵杉林和玉山箭竹生長，乍望之下酷似草原，這片森林裡穿插著幾棵的扁柏和枯木。
