我去看了很多當天去面試的考生網誌，發現大家都好順利的感覺.....

我的情形有點糟，希望大家不要犯跟我一樣的錯誤

然後要記得他們很注重eye contact，可是我完全忘了，因為我花很多時間在想事情



情形是這樣的，不用帶備審，請一定要事先打電話去確認，才不會浪費印刷錢
一分鐘的自我介紹，自然非常重要，他們好像很不喜歡背稿，所以要背就要自然一點

另外，我是4對1的面試，兩個外國人兩個台灣人，反正聽到的跟實際的都不一樣
所以沒有一定的，但是備審最好英文作多一點，因為有外國教授...
(這點我沒想到，結果我備審以中文為主，只有自傳跟作品集有英文的)


那麼開始吧，我的面試過程是這樣的。

(enter the interview room)
There were four judges, two of them were male foreigners, the rest were
female Taiwanese.

Foreign professor (F1)：Please take the seat.

Me (M): Ok.Good morning, professors. How are you doing?

Professors: Good, thank you. (smile)

M: Thank you (sit down).

F1: Your English name, please?

M: Rainy, R-A-I-N-Y.

F1: That rain?

M: Yes.

F1: Ok, why do you want to study in this school?

M: Thank you, professor. As you know, your department has long been the best
choice for us, i mean, the group of applied foreign language. And you have
excellent faculty, and great learning environment. Also, I know that your
department provides students with chance of working as guide in Dr. Sun Yat
Sun Memorial Hall. I really want to take that chance.

F1: You want to be a travel guide?

M: Well, not exactly, but I think it's a very valuable experience and I want
to try that.

Taiwanese professo (T1): What do you want to learn from our department?

M: Excuse me?

T1 :(repeat)

M: Thank you, professor. I hope to get more professional certificates,
like....TOEFL and GRE. I passed the high-intermediate level of GEPT and got
830 points in TOEIC exam, But I don't feel that is enough. Also, I do know
that your department puts much emphasis on the student's thinking ability, so
I really appreciate that kind of courses.

T2: You like reading?

M: Thank you , professor. Yes, I like reading. Like western literature,
Shakespeare....and Canterbury Tales.

T2: Canterbury tales? What story do you like?

M: Um....Sorry i forget much about it. It was a long time ago. But I remember
a story....that....three bad guys...they want money....and they
meet...someone....and they fall a treat....and they finally kill each other.
Sorry I don't remember a lot but i'll check that after this interview, thank
you.

T2: Do you know who wrote this book?

M: Yes, I remember it's....Chaucer, right?

T1: What do you learn from the story?

M: Thank you, professor. It's an ironical work. And it tells us the evil and
good part of the world and people's heart. From the story, I find many
ironical but interesting things.

F1: Alright, that's all. Thank you Rainy.

M: Thank you. Have a nice day, bye bye.

我對這次面試非常沒有信心......
雖然朋友都說沒關係啦，至少我有講出來，他知道我不是虎爛的...
但是我還是很難高興，因為真的很糟

我實在太大嘴巴了，人家問我是不是喜歡閱讀，我說是就好了，幹嘛還要再提那個什麼坎
特貝里故事，明明就已經忘記了一大堆，還給自己挖一個洞跳進去，我在那邊拼湊記憶就
浪費了一大堆時間，教授也不是很想聽的樣子，真是糗到家了......
後面問我學到什麼的時候，我也是答非所問，明明可以回答更好的......


我後來去翻到了一些其他考生的網誌，發現大家的面試都好像滿順利的......
好難過，我想要讓教授了解的自己，都沒有傳達到的感覺，我真的覺得自己更好的，真的
，可是那5分鐘，我大概只表達了一半不到，反而糗了自己，說想要再從來一次也不可能
，剩下的只有賭運氣了......


所以說，回答切題很重要，不要以為多講就是對，因為他可以鑽你漏洞，
敢說就不要講一些自己沒把握的東西，只有五分鐘，所以最好還是讓他多問你問題
多瞭解你，而不是自以為的繞圈子= =
