【國際橋牌社2】

「政治」在一般大眾的想像裡，似乎跟日常生活有些疏離，政治似乎是權貴們的利益爭奪，或是國際領袖的角力。《國際橋牌社》系列企圖以戲劇的方式，重現台灣這塊土地上複雜的政治鬥爭，竭力在通俗的載體裡傾訴被遺忘的歷史。

《國際橋牌社》第一季在戲劇的品質上呈現強烈的企圖心，但在劇情上稍微紛亂了些，過多的角色支線稀釋了戲劇的張力。然而《國際橋牌社2》馬上修正了第一季的缺陷，以記者蘇婉甄為主要切入點的視角，帶出臺海危機背後的陰謀。

政治劇最大的難處，就是要清晰的描述眾多勢力的立場，若安排不恰當，整齣劇就會像是交代事件的流水帳，更容易與觀眾的生活經驗產生疏遠。《國際橋牌社2》以千島湖事件做開場，迅速帶起強烈的危機感，從民間的危機引爆一連串政治風暴，前後因果都有強烈的關聯，所有劇情的推進都在一條直線上，少了許多分岔出去的支線，劇情推進的步調就能更不疾不徐，沒有顧此失彼的慌亂感。

《國際橋牌社》第一季劇情像是散狀湖泊的結構，每個人物的背景來不及深刻的營造，馬力歐飾演的王照陽算是勉強抓住整個劇情的重心。《國際橋牌社》第二季把許多角色的戲份精簡刪略，將重心約束於男、女主角身上，女主角是為社會正義熱血的記者蘇婉甄，男主角則是來自於台南百年商人大家族的繼承人陳慶堂，藉由平民與商人兩個懸殊地位的立場摩擦，凝聚出更明確的劇情核心，蘇婉甄更是穿針引線的角色，營造出平民與政商名流都在同一條命運列車上的感覺，誰也無法置身事外，當平民的篇幅更多，權貴的身影似乎也沒那麼遙不可及。。

路斯明飾演的陳慶堂，頗有蝙蝠俠與布魯斯偉恩與鋼鐵人的紳士風範，既有公子哥兒的玩世不恭，也有沉穩的瀟灑，他在不同的勢力間來去遊走，負責維持政商的關係，藉此鞏固家族的利益。范宸菲飾演的女記者蘇婉甄，總是熱心地想要藉由自己的身分替弱勢發聲，兩人相左的立場激發了個人與政治關係的辯證，男女曖昧的情愫更柔化了可能過於生硬的政治情節，私人情感與大局的掙扎產生精采的張力，兩人的角色也都有明顯的成長，運籌帷幄的手腕與橫衝直撞的正義似乎能有緊密的交集。

臺海危機事件已經有些遙遠，有一點距離的年代很難讓年輕觀眾產生共鳴，所以政治劇的通俗化是很重要的事情。《國際橋牌社》第二季試圖跳脫政治本位的角度，去挖掘快要被人們遺忘的歷史，更褪去艱澀的政治術語。歷史需要更通俗的載體來延續其精神，日本動漫大膽的重新解構他們自己的歷史，成為文創產業很重要的一環，要將歷史深刻的植入年輕世代，就必須要用年輕世代能接受的語言來重新詮釋，《國際橋牌社》第二季的年代設定於稍微遙遠的臺海危機，但敘述故事的方式上更貼近近代韓劇與偶像劇的風格，政治人物角色的戲份雖然略減，但在資深的演員基礎下，反而成為年輕演員最有力的後盾，使得整齣戲既有清新的面貌，也有長久歲月的穩重感。

以小老百姓的立場看待歷史人物，角度更加銳利而真實，也喚起了這份歷史為什麼必須被記住的理由，再加上現在台灣國際情勢使然，任何世代都會意識到彼此遇到的危機都是相同的。政治劇的製作比起台灣其他類型的劇，存在更高的門檻，製作上有些問題並非充裕的資金就能解決。《國際橋牌社》系列難能可貴的是，除了在荊棘林突破台灣缺乏政治劇類型的窘境外，更在第二季積極改進戲劇的質量，兩季的劇集有著顯著的進步，我很期盼這樣的政治類型的劇本能在台灣市場繼續深耕，並在未來開花結果。
